Kids Party Favors - Inexpensive Ideas That Won’t Break the Bank
Kids party favors are easy to come up with and they do not need to cost you an arm and a leg. Favors vary a great deal according the theme of the kids party. For favor bags, you can make little cloth pouches out of extra materials at home, or you can buy a fabric that suits the theme of the party. If you are having a Spiderman theme, you might make a favor bag out of red material with a spider to decorate the bag. A fairy theme might have gift bags made from a sparkly material or something in a pink satin. For a fairy theme, add to the bag a container of bubble mix so they can blow bubbles and a little vile of sparkles that can be used as fairy dust.
Kids party favors for all types of themes can be small puzzles, candy, small pads of
colored paper, little games like jacks or toys that you put together. Girls enjoy play jewelry and makeup. If you are having a beach theme, you might use sand buckets and a shovel then add to the bucket any other items that you can come up with to suit the theme of your party. A western theme bag might consist of a small deck of cards and a set of dice.
A Pirate theme favor might contain a head scarf, eye patch and some gold coins that contain chocolate on the inside of them, or some old costume jewelry that you no longer use. Favors are quite easy to come up with, all you have to do is go along with the theme of the event. Think about what the kids would like to take home with them as a reminder of the fun they had and search for easy to find, low cost items.
